The world-renowned journalist and longtime Voice of America host of “Ditari” Rudina Dervishi was defeated in her fight against breast cancer.
After a two-year battle, she died on Tuesday, September 12, at the age of 53.
For more than 25 years, Rudina was a dedicated and professional journalist who covered a wide range of subjects, including politics, economy, women’s rights, and the arts.
She departs from her mother, her three sons, and her spouse.”
