Aleksandar Vučić, the president of Serbia, responded for the first time to the impending meeting that was conducted in Brussels a day earlier and again resulted in an impasse.
The head of Serbia declared that he had known from the start that Kosovo’s prime minister would reject any association-related proposal prior to recognition.
“I appreciate that the European Union has made it apparent who is at fault. “I promise not to take any action that would be detrimental to Serbia’s interests,” Vučić declared.
