The official Chargé d’Affaires, David Wisner, at the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, held a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador to the United States, Ervin Bushati.
Diplomat Wisner congratulated Bushati for his new duty and appreciated the historical ties on which the U.S.-Albania relationship is built.
Furthermore, Wisner also expressed his appreciation for Albania’s crucial role in the United Nations Security Council and as a co-sponsor with the United States on the issues related to Ukraine.
Bushati will also serve as a non-resident ambassador in Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.
