According to Professor of Political Science Medlir Mema, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama’s plan for the Association of Serbian Municipalities, which he provided to the offices of Olaf Scholz and Emmanuel Macron, is problematic and a stab in the back for his counterpart, Albin Kurti.
Mema indicated in a Skype connection for A2CNN’s “DEBAT” show that Rama’s move cannot be regarded a help to settling the Kosovo-Serbia conflict, emphasizing that it is condemnable.
According to the professor, there have been voices within the Kosovo administration and the Vetvendosje Movement who have viewed the proposal as a betrayal of Kosovo, emphasizing that Rama’s ambition to attain notoriety serves neither the Albanian cause in the area nor Kosovo.
