The decision on the contract between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Albania and BAYKAR MAKINA SAN. VE. TIC. A.S. for the supply of unmanned aerial vehicle systems Bayraktar TB2 was approved by the Council of Ministers.
During his remarks, Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi expressed gratitude to the Turkish government for its recent aid to the Armed Forces.
“I am confident that the use of these assets in our country will significantly improve the capabilities of the Armed Forces and Civil Emergency Structures in terms of territorial control and the prevention of illegal phenomena.” The completion of this system is critical for our national security and the security of the Alliance, as well as meeting the duties emanating from the National Security Strategy, Military Strategy, and NATO Capability Objectives,” stated the Minister of Defense.
