Whatever the outcome of the elections, Ilir Meta will accept it. During a press conference, the Chairman of the Freedom Party was asked about the goal of the elections, and he stated that the goal is victory, but the outcome will be respected.
“There is no number in this race; we appreciate it, we respect the will of the people, but we entered this competition to win,” Meta explained.
The local government will be voted on May 14, according to Ilir Meta, and internationals will be notified about the situation in Albania.
“Everything has only one explanation, the extraordinary crisis caused by the fact that the truth will finally come out, in Albania and around the world. Let us not forget that on that day, cameras will be focused on Albania and people will realize that this is an autocratic regime,” emphasized the Freedom Party leader.
Meta concluded the conference by emphasizing the need of supporting the candidates of the alliance “We Win Together” on May 14.
