Skender Kapiti has resigned and joined Igli Cara’s coalition, which is running under the banner “Together We Win.”
Kapiti joined Igli Cara’s Durres election campaign just days after being named to Alibeaj’s councilor list.
According to reports, Kapiti’s decision was met with debate in the official DP.
On March 28, Alibeaj submitted a list of candidates for councilors in several municipalities across the country to the CEC. Jonuz Myshketa, Edlira Devolli, and Sami Osmani lead the Durres list.
So far, six candidates have withdrawn from Alibeaj’s group’s list of mayoral candidates.
