Belinda Balluku, the Minister of Infrastructure, visited the Elbasan-Qaf Thane axis building site.
The minister stated that this axis is part of Corridor 8. The upgraded specifications of the new road will ensure that vehicle traffic will flow without any issues.
“Following our agreement with the government of North Macedonia, this site has been modified to review a new exit, one that connects to the border with North Macedonia. The current level quota of the Qafe Thana did not help in connecting with the road that North Macedonia is building. This is part of Corridor 8, one of the most significant roads of our infrastructure,” Balluku declared.
