The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, issued a statement in reaction Vladimir Putin’s annexation of four regions in Ukraine, changing this way his country’s borders.
“I strongly condemn Russia’s persistent violations of Ukraine’s territorial integrity. Russia’s obvious and shameless disregard for laws and the international community is bad news for global peace and stability “Begaj writes on Twitter.
“Our country has four new territories,” Putin declared at a Kremlin ceremony on Friday, referring to Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson.
Putin signed agreements for these regions’ admission to the Russian Federation with the self-proclaimed leaders of these regions, deeming the referendums held in those Ukrainian territories democratic.
