Durres has yet to return to normalcy nearly three years after the terrible earthquake on November 26, 2019. Due to the construction delays, entire families have been unable to access their houses.

Residents of the “Jedas” complex have protested due to damage repair delays and lengthy postponements. They want that the repair be accelerated so that they can spend the winter in their houses.

This facility housed approximately 280 families. The earthquake on November 26 damaged it at the DS4 level, and work on the building’s reinforcement has been ongoing for more than a year.

Meanwhile, homeowners report that they are experiencing delays and difficulty obtaining their rent bonus at this time.
