The possibility of countries in the Western Balkans entering the European Union as well as Germany’s role in enhancing regional cooperation will be the primary topics of discussion during the visit.

On May 4, Prime Minister Kurti was invited to pay an official visit to Germany by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. During his time there, the Prime Minister participated in formal events. Following the meeting behind closed doors, Scholz participated in a joint press conference where he emphasized the need of open issues between Kosovo and Serbia being resolved methodically in order to facilitate regional peace and stability.

Scholz had, among other things, emphasized the significance of cooperation.
