There will be no more queues after May 1st, as all public services will be available online. Prime Minister Edi Rama made the declaration during a meeting with the directors of country’s major institutions who had registered for online services.
Prime Minister Edi Rama remarked in his speech that this is a new age and a historic turning point in the digital revolution, one that would put an end to lines, procrastination, and bribes.
Prime Minister Rama stated that it is no longer necessary to deliver paper certificates at civil status locations because everything can be done online.
