Yuri Kim, the US Ambassador to Albania, stated that she welcomed Artan Lame’s denunciation the previous day regarding the situation of the Durres Cadastre.

“We applaud the Cadastre agency’s serious report on flaws and potential crimes in Durrs. We applaud concrete actions to punish those involved, promote transparency, and eliminate opportunities for corruption in property registration in Durres and throughout Albania,” Kim wrote on Twitter.

“These actions will increase investment, especially investment from the United States.”

Additionally, they will demonstrate Albania’s readiness to join the European Union.”
