The Albanian administration intends to form a task group to oversee Ukrainian war refugees.
The government decides that the task force will consist of eight ministries, led by the Ministry of Interior. The government guarantees accommodation for war refugees, and special status will be granted for a year.
The money for their housing will be provided by the state budget as well as funding from other sources.
The Albanian government followed the same policy during the summer of 2021, when it agreed to temporarily house Afghan citizens.
