Along with military assistance, the primary request throughout these days of conflict in several Ukrainian cities has been for humanitarian assistance such as food or medicine.
Denys Ganzha, a student in Kiev and a representative of Ukrainian youth, made the same call on A2 CNN. Hundreds of civilians require medical assistance, while many more require food supplies. This humanitarian aid has begun to be gathered and shipped to Ukraine in a number of European countries.
Recently, some citizens in Modena, Italy, gathered aid. Several of the contributors are also Albanian immigrants who have supported the Ukrainian people’s request for minimal assistance.
“We purchased medication after learning that there are numerous injuries. Others contributed food, clothing, and everything else they could. We simply want this war to end so that innocent folks do not suffer,” one immigrant told A2 CNN.
