Albania’s Ministry of Health confirmed that six persons have died as a result of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

Only 85 citizens resulted infected after making 1754 tests, whereas 633 were healed in the past 24 hours. Currently, 71 people are being treated in COVID facilities, the ministry announced. Of those, 14 are in a more serious condition.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands has been added to the list of countries that have begun to lift restrictions. From 25 February 2022, all individuals arriving in the Netherlands following a stay in a non-EU country, including Albania, are not needed to self-quarantine.

The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs has notified the new travel restrictions imposed by the Netherlands. However, travelers will need to be equiped with vaccine certificate and PCR test.
