According to the Ministry of Health, 2419 tests have been conducted in the previous 24 hours, with 300 persons resulting infected with coronavirus.

Meanwhile, two persons have died as a result of Covid-19, while 934 have recovered.

Currently, 91 patients are undergoing treatment at COVID facilities, 12 of them are in a more critical condition.

Hospitals are also benefitting from the Omicron wave’s improvement. For the first time in months, doctors at Covid hospitals are declaring half the number of daily visits and hospital admissions.

92 patients are currently receiving specialized treatment, an improving number compared to one week ago, when hospitals were treating 124 patients.

However, coronavirus-related mortality continues to be high. According to Ministry of Health data, 31 infected persons have died in the last week alone, with even seven deaths in one day.

The majority of patients admitted to Covid hospitals are in the 50-60 age group, with the youngest admitted being 33 years old. According to doctors, unvaccinated people are in a worse condition.
