Young people infected with the coronavirus have a higher rate of severe infections. According to doctors at Covid Hospitals, the number of young patients requiring oxygen therapy has increased in recent weeks.
This group has not been vaccinated, in addition to arriving late at the hospital. Every day, around 20 patients are referred to Covid facilities for treatment.
They appear to be in bad shape, with a lot of lung involvement, according to specialists. Vaccinations are not required for almost all inpatients. 156 people are currently being treated in the two Covid hospitals, with 10 of them in critical condition.
Coronavirus deaths are occurring on a daily basis, thus experts are urging the public to be vaccinated.
