Brussels has officially removed Albania and six other countries from the list of safe countries from the coronavirus.
The increased number of new cases has led the European Council to recommend the EU to remove Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brunei, Japan, and Serbia from the list of safe countries.
The recommendation, which enters in effect as of today, is not obligatory for any of the states but it is always taken under consideration by the member countries. Every country can now take new measures for its border.
Besides the entering passengers, the European Council doesn’t recommend traveling to the countries considered not safe.
