Four other people die of COVID-19 complications in the past 24 hours. After making 5637 tests, the Albanian authorities confirmed 853 new cases.
The Albanian Health Ministry appeals citizens to get vaccinated in order to stop the spread of the dangerous virus. There are 10.915 active patients in the country while 103 patients are receiving hospitalized treatment.
With September still open for the vaccination of all ages, citizens are showing more interest as the daily cases grow.
Many of them are lining up for the vaccine, as Albania counts 824,000 vaccinated people so far with at least one dose. 28.5% of them have received both doses.
