One victim and 921 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours in our country, while 290 people have recovered.
The deterioration of the situation by the Delta variant has been seen ni hospitals as well, with 15 urgencies coming each day. The doctors of the COVID-1 hospital say that the patients with “Delta” are showing severe conditions, similar to the previous variants.
There are even young patients among the newly hospitalized, from 20 to 30 years old, but the majority is above 65. Infectionist Elda Qyra said that 95% of the people who are receiving hospitalized treatment are not vaccinated. Thte patients who have received one or two doses of the vaccine are in better conditions.
The Health Minister announced that the COVID-3 hospital is now ready to receive patients, while she appealed citizens to get vaccinated.
