The US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim, appreciated the cooperation of the Albanian authorities with the international ones in the fight against wildfires.
“The US experts are working closely with the Dutch and Czech pilots, who are assisting the heroic efforts of the Albanian forces against wildfires. The coordination between Albania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the USA has produced great results. It has also improved the security conditions for the helicopter operations and the firefighters on terrain”, Kim wrote on Twitter.
