COVID-19 in Albania, 284 new cases while vaccination continues for all ages

The Albanian Health Ministry announced that after making 4201 tests, 284 citizens have resulted positive. The daily numbers continue to remain high while there are 1271 active patients in the entire country.

34 citizens are receiving specialized treatment at the hospital, while there have been no life losses for the past 24 hours.

August remains open for the vaccination of every citizen older than 18. The application of four types of vaccines has allowed citizens to chose.

The vaccination process is seen as a safe protection from the pandemic.

With the increasing number of new cases, citizens are showing more interest to get vaccinating. Family doctors declared that chronic patients and elder citizens remain a priority.
