The President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, declared that the initiative started by Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia for a Balkan “mini-Schengen” requires still a lot of work before everything can be ready within 2023.
“This is a historic decision, but the implementation is something else”, Vucic said in an interview for the Serbian public television.
“There is still a lot to be done so that we can start it properly in 2023. It is an idea of peace and stability that has not been imposed from abroad. The door is open to everyone, but we will not beg to anyone anymore”, Vucic declared.
