The Kosovo Albanian singer, Dua Lipa, has arrived in Albania where she observed the reconstruction of a kindergarten in Tirana that was damaged by the earthquake of November 26th, 2019.
This kindergarten will be built by funds secured by her through the “Sunny Hill” foundation.
Lipa wrote on Instagram that the “Sunny Hill Kindergarten” will start operating on September 15th, 2021.
“It’s an honor to be today in Tirana to see the progress of the construction for the Sunny Hill Kindergarten,. After the earthquake, and with your help, by buying our “Pray for Albania” shirts, I doubled the funds and the money will be used for the reconstruction of this kindergarten that will have 300 children.
I am grateful to be here with my family and friends. Thank you PM Edi Rama and Mayor Erion Veliaj for your help during this process”, Lipa wrote on Instagram, as she visited Tirana with her family and her boyfriend, Anwar Hadid.
