The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, encouraged the Kosovo and Serbia delegations to find common ground and go towards the final solution of the normalization of the relations.
He said that this is the only way for parties to progress.
“It is good t meet before the summer holidays and one week after the first meeting in June. I think that holding regular contacts is essential and shows dedication and normalization of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia. We will continue today our discussions on the progress reached so far and the further steps, in order to progress with the dialogue.
“I expect the parties ot have a constrictive and pragmatic approach in this meeting. Kosovo and Serbia should conclude this painful chapter of the past through an all inclusive and legally binding agreement, for normalizing the relations and continuing towards their European future, for the sake of their citizens. The future is more important than the past. The past is important, but we must look ahead”, Borrell declared.
