Albania has opened its doors for tourists. Same as one year ago, tourists who chose our country will not need tests or vaccination passports.

The tourist agencies are optimistic about the tourist season. The charters landing at the Rinas airport every week and the tolerance offered by some countries are expected to have some impact on the tourism.

A good sign is the fact that the EU listed Albania among the green countries for safe travel. However, the EU countries have imposed their own rules. Britain, Italy and Poland are applying very harsh rules for anyone entering their country.

Albanian travelers who have a vaccination passport will also need a COVID test before traveling to Italy and Britain. Albanians are allowed to travel to Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey and Switzerland without a vaccination passport.
