
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, confirmed that he will meet with the Serbian President, Alexandar Vuicic, within June.
The news comes after Kurti’s meeting in Prishtina with the Deputy Assistant State Secretary, Andrew Palmer, and the EU Special Representative for the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
According to sources, the meeting will take place in June, respecting this way the date announced by the EU for resuming the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, June 22nd.
“The coordination and cooperation between the EU and the USA in the new dialogue process is welcome because it is indispensable. The dialogue must be fair, based on principles and serving to the people, peace and overall security”, the Prime Ministry declared.
Meanwhile, local media in Serbia are claiming that the international community have pressured Belgrade to recognize Kosovo within June 15th.
