The Appeals and Sanctions Commission (KAS) has rejected the request of the Democratic Party for invalidating the elections in the District of Tirana.
The decision has left in power the current result of the elections. The request for invalidating the elections was also asked by the candidate of the Self-Determination Movement, who ran independently, Boiken Abazi. His request was also rejected by KAS.
The Commission is now reviewing the request of the DP in Elbasan and the other complaints for the districts of Fier, Lezha and Korca.
