
The declining number of new COVID-19 cases has encouraged authorities to close three regional COVID hospitals. COVID1 and COVID2 in Tirana are the only ones working, receiving patients from other districts as well.
The Albanian Health Minister, Ogerta Manastirliu, declared that the regional hospitals will now go back to normality.
The minister added that very soon they might also close one of the two Tirana hospitals and treats all patients in just one building.
In the upcoming days, the Technical Committee of Experts will take a decision in the upcoming months regarding the restrictive measures throughout the country, which are expected to be lfited.
