
The Albanian Health Ministry announced that after making 1444 tests in the past 24 hours, 30 persons have resulted positive with COVID-19.
952 persons have recovered while four have lost their lives.
There are 99 patients getting treatment at the COVID hospitals, six under intensive care and four are using ventilators.
The Albanian Health Minister, Ogerta Manastirliu, declared that 11,700 new Pfizer vaccines have arrived today from the agreement of the Albanian government with the Pfizer company, with the support of the EU.
Manastirliu observed the vaccination process for manufacturing workers, where she declared that Albania has 600,000 vaccinated people so far.
The Minister declared that depending on the situation, the restrictive measures will be easier during the summer season.
The vaccination is currently undergoing for persons above 60 and critical workers, such as tourist operators and manufacturing employees. 601,291 doses have been administered so far, 479,020 on people above 60.
