The electoral campaign is over and the authorities now seem focused in accelerating the vaccination process.

Many citizens are waiting in queues in Tirana’s main square for the first dose of the anti-covid vaccine.

The reasons they postponed it were the skepticism to the Chinese vaccine, health problems, etc.

Taxi drivers are the most disappointed category with the vaccination. They have to wait for the lowering of the age group to get a vaccine. They trust the vaccine and say they feel more protected.

435,000 citizens have been vaccinated since the beginning of the process. The Albanian authorities aim to vaccine half a million Albanians by the end of June.
