The ballot counting for the April 25th elections is undergoing throughout the country. 31% of the ballot boxes have been counted so far, showing the Socialist Party leading in 9 out of 12 districts. The Democratic Party has won more votes than in the past elections, the Socialist Movement for Integration is facing a drop.
So far, the SP leads with 49.55%, followed by DP with 38.71% and the SMI with 7.14%.
The Democratic Party has preserved its strongholds in Shkoder, Kukes and Lezhe, while the Socialist Party is currently leading in the remaining 9 districts.
