The Albanian Health Minister, Ogerta Manastirliu, and Minister for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj, were at the Tirana International Airport today to receive 208,000 doses of the Chinese vaccine.
“We have completed the delivery of this contract, securing 500,000 doses of vaccine. Albania has now 700,000 vaccines in total”, Manastirliu declared.
The Health Minister announced that 8000 Pfizer vaccines are also expected this evening.
“The vaccination is continuing with an intensive pace with citizens over 70 and critical services. 333,330 doses have been administered so far, 251,762 for citizens over 60”, the Minister added.
