The Albanian Committee of Experts decided to impose a 14-day quarantine for anyone entering Albania from Greece or North Macedonia.

The new restriction will enter into effect from tomorrow, April 20th, 2021, to May 3rd 2021. According to the Head of the Committee, the measure was taken due to the increased number of new cases in these countries.

“The situation in Albania is improving, thanks to the cooperation of the citizens and due to the cooperation taken at the right time. The effect of massive infection is already being seen. But the situation in the region remains more difficult. Our neighbors have an increased number of cases. The challenge of our committee is to improve our indicators”, Rakacolli declared.
