The Commissioner for Personal Data Protection declared that there is an investigation ongoing regarding the accusations of the President, who claimed that the government is using personal data from e-Albania for electoral purposes.
“We are making all the necessary legal evaluations for the official administering of the documentation, information, or necessary evidence needed for an eventual administrative review of the case. Of course, if the case in question does not fall under criminal jurisdiction. The decision-making of the Commissioner will be made public and everyone can consult it on our official website”, declared Commissioner Bledar Skenderi.
