Nine people have died in the past 24 hours of COVID-19 complications. The authorities have confirmed 264 new cases after making 2092 tests.
589 people have recovered in the past 24 hours, while there are 255 patients that are receiving treatment in hospitals.
Albania has still 30,090 cases, while the number of total deaths has reached 2274.
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, announced that Albania will have 50,000 more doses from the Russian vaccine Sputnik V.
“We reached an agreement to bring 50,000 doses of the Sputnik vaccine within 10 days. We are going to win this fight with the force of our character. We will leave the pandemic tunnel soon”, Rama wrote on Vacebook.
