
The Technical Committee of Experts for the pandemic gathered this Wednesday to analyze the situation with the pandemic. The Head of the Committee, Mira Rakacolli, announced that the situation is stabilized, but delicate.
“The committee gathered to evaluate the weekly indicators. The situation is stabilized, with a light decline of new cases, but it still remains delicate”, Rakacolli declared.
She added that the restrictive measures will remain unchanged at least until the next week.
This means that everything will be closed in Albania after 20:00 even for the next week. High-schools will stay closed in the main municipalities.
However, graduating students will be back to school to prepare for the final exams of this year.
Albania has officially 124,723 confirmed cases of coronavirus, of which 90,617 are cured, while 31,879 are active. The death toll since the pandemic began is officially 2227.
