One day after the arrival of the first batch of Astrazeneca vaccines, the Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has received the first dose as a sign to increase the public’s trust in the vaccine.

24,000 doses of Astrazeneca vaccine arrived last night in Kosovo, part of the Covax program. The WHO program has issued a total of 100,800 vaccines to Kosovo.

Kosovo was the last country in Europe that had not been supplied with vaccines. It can now start the process by vaccinating doctors and senior citizens.
