The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared that the Balkan region will soon receive 651,000 Pfizer vaccines, sent by the European Union.
“Good news. I was on the phone with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. Very soon, 651,000 Pfizer vaccines will be sent to the region from the European Union. Finally”, Rama wrote on Facebook.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, published a Twitter post in the Albanian language.
“I discussed with the Albanian Prime Minister for the distribution of the vaccines in Albania, funded by the European Commission, for vaccinating health care workers and people in need. Together we are going to overcome the pandemic”, Von der Leyen declared.
