The COVID hospitals in Tirana and the three regional hospitals are treating 445 patients in totals, 31 under intensive care, 17 with ventilation.
Alma Cani, the Chief of the Reanimation department at the COVID-2 hospital declared that there are even young patients in serious conditions.
The youngest patient at the Sanatorium hospital is a 19-year-old girl who is being kept in intensive care. According to Cani, the severe cases among young patients are caused due to the fact that they have not taken the virus seriously.
