Greece extends travel ban at Kapshtica border checkpoint

Greek authorities have decided to extend the travel ban at the Kapshtica border checkpoint to March 22nd.

The decision was taken based on the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemics and was announced by sources close to the border police.

Until March 22nd, all travels from Albania to Grece will remain closed from this checkpoint. However, from 06:00 to 22:00, citizens will be allowed to travel from Greece to Albania, only if they are on foot.

Buses, taxi cabs and all other vehicles will be banned.
